Even though strawberry season starts fairly early in summer, I’m a firm believer that they don’t achieve their full glory until the real heat of summer hits. Truly ripe strawberries also don’t last for shit, and are a treat best used right away. This brew supports heart and cardiovascular health along with being full of antioxidants and vitamin C. Energetically speaking, hawthorn and rose are also classically related to matters of the emotional heart- add some of the precious red sweetness of strawberry and everything is Just Rosy.
