The aroma has enough rose to be opulent + enticing without being overpowering, balanced with the warm sweetness of pure benzoin resin and the woodsy stateliness of sandalwood. Make no mistake, this isn’t sweetness without substance- it has a deep and sensual presence in it’s simplicity. Oak and Peonies are considered to have masculine correspondences, and their inclusion represents the power and strength of the Queen that’s tempered with the softness of wisdom.

The entire genesis of this concept and scent, in Chinese art and culture peonies are the flower that is “most” as it used to be reserved for the Emperor and Imperial court, representing honor, good fortune, and prosperity. Despite it’s masculine correspondence, I consider peonies to be WILDLY FEMININE in a very sensual and erotic way.
Oregon Oak Bark:
Representing abundance, wealth, creating your own luck, determination in self-alignment, and most of all a steadfast, stately power that’s slow to build but also completely unfuckwithable. Think how hard Oak wood is, how it’s unaffected by the breeze, it survives fire, it outlives humans by generations, and it’s just plain-ass stately and majestic no matter what.
Rose Absolute:
It takes 600lbs of rose petals to produce a quart of this precious and unrivaled oil. In addition to representing abundance and beauty, rose is one of the best oils for self-love- it gently promotes our ability to move towards emotional security + strength, integration, and optimism in the face of difficult emotions like grief, anxiety, shock, betrayal, shame, jealousy, envy, despair, or deprivation.
Sandalwood:
Feeling confident and embodied in the present, relaxed and sensual. Another coveted and precious oil to be used carefully and procured ethically, sandalwood is comforting, grounding, and meditative. It gets us out of future-tense anxiety and past-tense worries and grounds us in the present tense- more aware of our thoughts, feelings, sensations, and surroundings.
Benzoin Resin Oil:
