Contains the following as infusions/essential oils/visual inclusions:
Doug Fir Heartwood:
I met a tree that was over 400 years old. It was cut down, but still very lively. I was sad to see it laying there in an unmagnanimous ending to such a long journey of survival but wondered what all it saw in those hundreds of years and what stories it would tell. I was futzing with the heartwood, thinking how wild it was to be touching the very beginning of a life, but also something so ancient when a piece came off in my hand. I collected some and included it within this vial as a representative of the very essence of the forest, and to lend it’s ancient wisdom and lessons in growth and survival. A hint of Doug Fir essential oil is added to provide it’s fresh green top note.
Moss:
Playful little wisps of moss are suspended in the oil for fun. Carefully dried to retain their vivid green color.
River Pebble:
To me the little pebble represents water in this anointing oil. Such a large part of the PNW forest experience is shaped by the abundance of water- the pebbles remind me of the sounds of the river, the color of the water, and the power of water as it glides effortlessly over the rocks on its way to the sea.
Oakwood Absolute + Oakmoss Absolute:
These two unique absolutes capture the essence of that duffy forest aroma.
